Our beaches are patrolled by world renound surf life savers, patrolling from dawn till dusk in hundreds of locations up and down the entire coast line. Just remember to swim between the red and yellow flags so they can keep a watchful eye on you should you get in trouble.

Coolangatta is at the lower (southern end) of the Gold Coast beaches. It boasts lovely swimming and surf beaches too. Coolangatta is a pleasant 35 minute trip down the M1 motorway
Gold Coast has Whale watching trips out to see these beautiful mammals playing in the warm waters. There is deep sea fishing charters and reef scuba diving, sailing, Jet ski hire, para sailing, kite surfing, Tiger moth biplane trips also available.
The Gold Coast and Hinterland has many wineries and distilleries. Bus tours are available and so to is free tasting's. Most wineries have a cellar open to the public, so you can plan your own drive tour and spend a lovely day visiting the local grapes. The closest vineyard is at Wongawollan on the way to Mount Tamborine, which is only a 10 minute drive down the road.
Gold Coast has an amazing amount of golf courses, at least 20 courses, most world ranking. Some of our courses were designed by the "shark" Greg Norman himself. Royal Pines hold host to the woman's pro tour. Your bound to find a course you'll love. The closest course to Kintail Homestay is only 5 minutes away at Helensvale.
